The aim of the ski courses

Ski Courses, addressed to primary school aged kids, aim at enhancing kid’s self-confidence, self-esteem, and independence. The ski courses also train newbies on psychical and emotional development, while improving their sport ability and the capacity to correct their own mistakes. Therefore, kids will be able to achieve better results, enhance their self-esteem and having fun at the same time with friends. Trainer is a friendly figure and his/her aim is to accompany kids in their sports and personal growth.

This course, specifically developed for kids above 5, has special sessions of two-hour length to learn the basics of ski technique since early age. When they reach a suitable level, they can move up to the next level where they are encouraged to give their best and never give up!

Ski School for Kids in Cortina D’Ampezzo: kids courses

These courses start early in the morning, at 9:30 and end at 1:00 PM. They are thought for kids between 6-8 years old. They are aimed at studying the ski techniques. During the preparation courses, kids enjoy mid-morning breaks; their performance is recorded on video so that they can correct their mistakes and improve themselves. At the end of the course, school organizes a real competition and a dinner with all the participants and the ski teachers, and a final award ceremony where all the group components will say goodbye to the next year.

The role of the ski teacher

The school has a team of professional, high-qualified ski teachers. They are experts and very experienced in their field, and they are also fluent in five different languages: English, French, Spanish, German, and Russian. Their role is a key one. They teach the basics of ski technique, but they are also guides for those that in their early age open up, for the first time, to ski and need the best of care during the lessons. Once kids master the basics of ski, teachers train them to give their best during the competitions, to commit themselves to the victory and reach always better results. Beyond his/her professional role, the teacher is also a friendly figure, always ready to lead, to give advice and share his/her great positivity with the pupils!
